03 Jun Rainbow trout for our pond
We just added a school of rainbow trout to our pond at Laughing Waters, so now we can begin learning more about aquaculture. We got about a hundred all together in four sizes: 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″. We were told they will grow as large as 30″ in size! They seem to like the stream water pouring in from the micro-hydro pipe, which keeps the water cold and fresh. They find their own food, but they love when i feed them pellets of trout food every few days. It will be fun to watch them grow!
